Position Overview
As a Senior Quality Consultant, you’ll join our expert team providing fractional quality management services to life science organisations. This role focuses on:
- Building close, enduring client relationships, and
- Guiding clients through the complexities of industry standards and regulatory compliance, while maintaining our commitment to simplicity and real-world impact.
Work Arrangement
- Fractional, flexible position, either part-time 15-20 hours a week or full time
- Hybrid working model combining remote and on-site presence
- Based in Sydney, Australia – must be able to travel to work on clients’ site in Sydney a few times a week
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality System Leadership
- Design and implement practical quality management systems for scientific laboratories
- Provide fractional quality management services to multiple clients
- Guide clients through certification and accreditation processes
- Champion our agile and lean approach to quality management
- Participate in internal projects as we continually improve our own systems and processes
2. Client Relationship
- Build strong relationships with clients
- Manage clients expectation and ensuring their satisfaction
- Ensure clients are supported through their QMS development journey
- Translate complex requirements into simple, effective solutions
- Support clients in developing a positive quality culture within their teams
3. Technical Excellence
- Apply deep understanding of life science industry standards and regulations
- Provide expert guidance through QMS implementation and accreditation
- Ensure compliance while maintaining operational efficiency
- Guide implementation of ISO17025, ISO9001, ISO15189 and other relevant standards
- Contribute to industry knowledge and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Life Sciences, preferably in Biotechnology, Medical Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality management within Life Sciences
- Proven experience with ISO standards implementation – in particular, ISO17025, ISO9001, and/or ISO15189
- Strong understanding of laboratory operations

Salary $140,000 pro rata
